speaker question.

i just recently purchased my first exp. i am gonna upgrade the speakers but dont know what sizes will fit. i know the factory ones are 6x8, but could i fit a set of 6.5 compnents in the front?? i know the kick panel enclosures arent cheap but that might be an option too...

Drilling is an option as well. Who knows, you might be able to find mounting brackets for the midrange's. I still have the Pioneer 3-way 6x9 my mom put in fore now....they sound nice...but round is better, better clarity of the soundstage....ask some local audio stores about mounting them

what about the polk 5 1/4 components on crutchfield they say that they send you the brackets and everything, but does anyone have these?? how do they sound?? they are buy one get one half off so u cant beat that...

i have heard polk components in a friends civic befroe up front and they sounded good
