Is there a way to recalibrate the speedo when changing sizes of rims/tires? I checked the FAQ and it only listed when changing gear ratios. Thanks for the help.

BTW, it's a 95 with electronic speedo, any way to do electronically?

SOrry, no way to do electronically. you still have a mechanical gear in the transfercase or tranny tailshaft depending if it is 4WD or 2WD. If you would like more info. let me know.

There is a module that allows you to adjust your speedo for tire changes. I don't have the details off the top of my head, but if you visit the "projects" page of www.mysporttrac.com you will see what I am talking about.

The 95 explorer does not have any way electronically of adjusting the speedo. they changed it in 98 so all 98 and newer can just be reprogrammed

95 XLT, yes I would like more info. It's a 4x4. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the '98 and up can be reprogrammed electronically for $75 at Ford. The '97 and earlier can be reprogrammed by putting in a $7 gear.

expedition95,
drop me an e-mail and i will dig up your info tomorrow and send it your way VIA e-mail. thanks!
