Hello, i have a 1997 Explorer. The speedometer wasn't working for a while. I changed the dash and when i was driving 30mph teh dash would show 70 and as i gained speed it kept increasing. I assume that when i was going 50 it would show 110. I had sens the old dash to be repaired. When installed it also showed way more than the actual speed. Same as the other. The problem is that the car changes gears quickly and when it gets to about 4.000 rpm it is acting as if a limiter is turned on. The scanner that i have does not enter this ECU while it would enter other explorer ECU's round this buildyear. Any one have a cleu on how to solve this problem?
