I'm out at Rock Auto checking out some spindle seals and I'm seeing a inner and outer. My manual is only showing one seal on the spindle in the hub assembly. I'm thinking that the inner actually is in the differential? And the outer is the one I need to seal the shaft to the spindle? Rock Auto is super cool. Instead of taking whatever the monkeys at the auto parts place can find I get to choose my parts.

I think I'm getting it figured. The inner is the one on that seals the shaft to the spindle. The outer goes on the rotor I think.

The seal that taps onto the back of the Hub after the Bearing is in , is called 'Front Wheel seal'. No inner or Outter mentioned.

They have inner and outer parts listed. Would make sense as there are two seals. One on the rotor and one on the spindle.
