spitting out sparkplugs

Hey everyone. I have 1 question. Has anyone had a problem with their st blowing a spark plug out of the engine block. I had it happened last night. I was pulling out and all of a sudden there was a loud bang and next i know when i checked under the hood there was 1 of my plugs still in the wire just chillen in the engine compartment. If you did have it happend please reply back and let me know what you did. This would be very helpful.

I know it was a problem with the early 5.4L V8's, but not on anything in the ST. What engine do you have? The problem in the 5.4L was not enough threads in the head, and the dealer was fixing them...

i have a 2004 st wit the 4.0L V6. i put a new plug in and hand screwed it the best i could and tugged on it to see if the threads were messed up. my cuz told me the ford lightnings did it a lot. thanks for the info.
