Has anybody changed their lug nuts to black or are using any types of wheel locks they'd recommend?

A co-worker of mine had his rims stolen off his new Maxima in our parking garage at work.

Yes, I got the "Gorilla Automotive 61681 Acorn Guard Locks (1/2" Thread Size) - Pack of 4" from Amazon. Like them a lot.

They have a outter sleeve that spins if someone smashes a socket on there.

Ha, this is the information I've been looking for for a couple weeks now.

Thanks.

yeah I'm not sure I can trust Amazon as it's said before stuff wont fit that will, such as my running boards.

Change it to a 2012 and it will say it fits. They just have not updated the information. I purchased the ones I linked and they work great.

The black ones would look good too, I might switch to those at some point.

I'm thinking the black ones will go with my black out look I'm going for on my sport.

would love a full set of black lugs with matching black wheel locks. we've got links for black lugs, and chrome wheel locks, how about some for black wheel locks!? lol

Thanks 'The Cheat'. anybody have a picture of the black Gorillas on sport rims?

Just ordered the set The Cheat listed above, looking forward to this simple mod.

Factory Locks

When I ordered my 2014 Sport, there was a factory option for wheel locks.

I'm sure I paid a lot more, but got it done with no additional leg work on my end and have the factory warranty.

I just installed black lug nuts from my buddy at American Muscle, they fit perfectly! They're a tad shorter than the stock ones, but the depth is still fine for the stock studs, and it makes the lugs sit flush with the wheel rather than protrude out. Only got around to installing them on 1 side last night so I can take some before/after pics after I wash it,but it's a big improvement. Now I look at my Raptor and the factory chrome lugs stand out like a sore thumb LOL!
