Hi, i have an exhaust manifold leak on the curb side off my engine, After one minutes there is no more leak sound. Do you have an idea about what is the problem ? I can't see and i can't feel anything wrong. Do i have to disconnect the suspension to see something ? I'm looking for a simple solution.

Thanks

You may want to check the exhaust manifold to see if there's a crack in it, or if you have done any recent exhaust work it may be the collector that needs to be tightened up.

I just took my 2007 Ford Explorer to the dealer for the same thing. they found a broken bolt in the manifold, tried to get it out but it's seized up, now they will need to pull the head to do the repair, all because of a stupid bolt. Of course, my extended warranty won't cover the work because it is the bolt that caused the problem.
