just like all explorers it comes stock with an axle over spring.... does anyone know how to do a spring over axle in the rear? Would my truck just get messed up like crazy?

what lift are you doing in the front to match it? the SOA will net 4-5" of lift!

do a search for SOA, its been discussed several times and is also in several threads as a sticky

Search a bit.

But in general, all you do is weld another spring perch on opposite side of the tube as the old perches.
Mopar 3" spring perch: $13 (you'll need to grind them down just a little bit, as the rear axle tubes are slightly greater than 3"): http://store.summitracing.com/partd...rt=DCC-4120074&N=700+-126266+115&autoview=sku

You should also look at whether or not the driveshaft has enough spline left in it before it falls apart (doing an spring-over-axle extends the driveshaft).

BTW since your in Fairfax, come out this Sunday for our Meet & Greet in Falls Church!! :D Good food and good Explorers -- what more could you ask for?
