cause im planning to get my x painted cause there are some paint chip from rocks and after i get it painted i wanted to install this...what you think?

I would say with them being 26 gage, you might as well install duct tape. How do they install, I'll bet peel and stick tape.

yeah.. 26 gauge isn't gonna do a lot in the way of protection.. like bionc marsh says.. duct tape would be the same!
if you just want them for looks.. thats a different story. i didn't look at the pic good but i'm not a big fan of the stainless, chromed out look
