I have a 1993 XLT 4.0L it is running rich stalls shifting into gear and when pulling away from stop signs hard to start after it stalls, misses at idle but not when going down the road. Has new pcm, maf, tps and fuel pump. It also runs at higher rpm at speed than it use to.

Were all of these parts changed in an effort to correct the aforementioned issues or for some other reason?

It also runs at higher rpm at speed than it use to.

As in idles at higher RPM? Or when you're driving down the road at speeds over 45 the RPM sort of 'floats' when you give it gas rather than acting like the engine is directly coupled to the wheels?
