Could you give more specifics on the parts you used mumbler?

Not sure. Had it done by a shop. Are you suggesting that it's a faulty fuel pump?
I can hear it come on when the key is turned on. By it wines like an electrical noise.
Also have no fuel pressure tester? Any other way to test the pump?

may want to check if the pickup fell off, or if the slosh-prevention shield (part of the tank, around the pump/pickup) is still present in the gas tank. Was the tank replaced recently with a 3rd party unit?

I would take it back to the shop that supposedly repaired this. Did they put in the right fuel pump? Did the install it correctly? Did they install the pickup filter correctly? Did they damage any fittings or lines?

There's a 1.5 inch soft line that attaches the fuel pump
regulator to the assembly hard line. This section can
split allowing pressurized fuel to return to the tank,
reducing fuel pressure and possibly allowing air to
enter the fuel line when the tank level reaches the
level of the split.

I think this is what's happened in your case. If you
take it back to the shop, request they replace the
faulty line with SAE 30R9 hose, rather than the
more common 30R7. They should also use true F.I.
clamps rather than the screw type.

it only does this in drive wile accelerating. in neutral and park it revs awesome
no stalling.. if there was a split in the hose wouldn't it affect it then also?

I may have jumped the gun.. I have a full tank and its doing it again.
Im not sure I want to take it back to the shop until I know that they messed up.. once I get proof ill make them fix it :)

but im feeling more of a sensor issue.. its not much of a sputter.. more of a cut out.. like its thinking or I have a faulty sensor.. if I put it in neutral then shut it of and on again it gos away for a few miles.. but then again it could be because the pcm is priming the fuel system from restarting..

No CEL?
