Stalls when put in gear

I have a 91 auto. I replaced the coil pack, plugs, and wires. This thing stalls when I put it in drive or reverse. It idles fine in park or neutral. No sucking sound indicating a vacume leak and the tubes are all connected to the manifold tree. I am at a loss and need this thing to get to work this weekend(expecting a snow storm). I am not getting a CEL and yes the bulb is good. I need any help I can get. :fire:

Have you checked the IAC?

Try bypassing the EGR valve by disconnecting the vacume hose on top. Ford used to use a small green hallow hose for this with a small rubber elbow connector to it. It's pretty common if you turn the wheel to the left or right and it would either idle rough or die ar 2 of the first signs. You can run it disconnected, but if your state has inspections it won't pass emissions and your fuel economy will not be as good.
