Okay all you enthusiasts, I have a problem that has been going on for more than a month. Originally, the only problem I had was my battery wasn't keeping a charge. SO of course I replaced it. Then I still had the problem of the new battery not keeping charged, so I figured that I needed a new alternator, so of course I did that and then got a grinding sound from the area of my starter. So I replaced my starter, and starter relay (in addition to new cables!!!) Every time I start it makes a grinding sound which continues the length of the drive, including a smell. The next time I try to start, get nothing. Best I can figure the bendix in not disengaging. Took the starter back 4 times and it continues. Any ideas/suggestions?
