starter relay

I am new to this forum and apparently posted the following to the wrong message board. Let me try this one.

I am trying to replace the starter relay (solenoid) on my 98 XLT V6 SOHC.
My manual and the parts people said it was on the firewall. If so, it is well hidden!

Anyone know exactly where it is located?

Mine and many Fords are on the driver side fender.

Mine is on the passenger side fender right by the battery 92 ex though.

On the 1st generation 91-94, it is found on the passenger side fender and on the 95-01 it can be found on the driver side fender wall.
