OK - all other issues sorted. (previous threads for fuel pump etc etc..)
Won't start when hot. No starter, no click, nothing. Battery all good, all lights, dash etc. It's not even when the engine is warm - if it's sat on the driveway in the sun for a while, no start. Starts great first time at night, or when the weather is cooler. Runs perfectly when it has started. (So, no quick stops for coffee etc - unless one leaves the engine running...)
I've swapped out the relays - no improvement. (Most websites refer to a starter relay mounted inside the fender near the battery - mine doesn't have that) - replaced all relays and fuses, no improvement. I've seen some threads talk about crankshaft position sensor - would that really stop the starter motor from turning? And why only when warm? Is it worth getting the fuse box out and checking wiring/ground connections etc? Any input gratefully received....
