Thank you - you beat me to the punch :)

Any plans for swaybars or beefed up suspension links for the ST?

Yes - they are in the works :)

TJ, indie is figuring 1.5 hr per wheel, r&r. Does this sound correct ? Also, I will need to do an alignment too @$89.00

6 hours total? Find an independent shop that won’t try to kill you.

I'll know on Monday. Sykora Ford in West, TX only charges $115hr. I want an authorized Ford dealer doing the work. There can be no pushback from Ford that way.

Springs came today by FedEx. Can't beat that. Ordered Thurs eve. They get installed next week.

The Warranty Guide does not mention any allowance for the installation of non Ford parts or mods even if done by a Ford dealership.

Damage Caused by Alteration or Modification
The New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover any damage caused by:
• alterations or modifications of the vehicle, including the body, chassis,
electronics or their components, after the vehicle leaves the control of
Ford Motor Company
• tampering with the vehicle, tampering with the emissions systems or
with the other parts that affect these systems (for example, but not
limited to exhaust and intake systems)
• the installation or use of a non-Ford Motor Company part or software
(other than a certified emissions part or software) or any part or
software (Ford or non-Ford) designed for off-road use only installed
after the vehicle leaves the control of Ford Motor Company, if the
installed part fails or causes a Ford part to fail. Examples include, but
are not limited to lift kits, oversized tires, roll bars, cellular phones,
alarm systems, automatic starting systems and performance-enhancing
powertrain components or software and performance “chips”.

People believe that if a Ford dealership installs it, it doesnt void the warranty. Thats incorrect. Best case scenario, the dealer covers the repair out of their own pocket if they want to warranty it. But Ford will not cover 3rd party parts nor issues that could relate to the 3rd party.

Springs installed yesterday. $410 with tax and full alignment. Makes a major difference in back road handling. The ST feels more planted. Takes a line through the curves much better. Steeda did their homework ..............

That's a great price! did you get the dealer to install? I like the Steeda's better than the H&Rs. I'd want beefier shocks though--I think what we have is too soft even for the stock ST springs.

Had Ford dealer do it. Small country dealer. No fancy showroom, great sales and service. $110 hr vs $170 hr in the D/FtW area. And, the tech beat the clock time. Handed him a $20 I was so damn happy. Sykora Family Ford will be getting my Mach1 order as soon as the order books open.

Pictures?
I'm leaning towards using the steedas due to how good they have been in my mustang

Did you get your alignment checked yet? Guys with the H&R springs are seeing rear camber over -2.0 degrees.

Dealer aligned after the install. Everything in the green except for the rear camber which was just into the yellow area. Tech drove the ST for 5 miles over some pretty rough back roads prior to doing the alignment to get the suspension to settle. It goes back in tomorrow so he can tweek things.
