A week or two ago I noticed a Ford Ranger of similar vintage as our Explorers at the local salvage yard. I stopped by and asked about it and was allowed to pull parts off for a reasonable fee. My poor Explorer had been stolen once if not twice in it's life and along the way got the steering column all messed up. So, I decided to pull the one out of the Ranger and try to swap it over. Before this venture, I had never messed with steering columns and information online was hard to find. So, I figured it out myself and made a video along the way. It's crappy, cut horribly and the battery died at the end but it will hopefully help someone out there. If anyone here has questions about the process, feel free to ask and I can get pictures or any other info for you.
