The problem i have is that with engine hot my X suffers a loud rattle throgh the steering wheel i can feel & hear it espically at low speeds on smooth roads, the front end is tight no movement from ball joints,bearings,tie-rods etc,it is strange that it only does it on warm days or in stop/start traffic
also on the steering rod there is a uni joint right next to exhaust manifold with a rubber boot over the joint the boot is cracked the joint has no play but the dealer tells me that that the joint & boot come as one piece and will cost approx $700 to replace
(DAMN INPORTS :australia ) any clues for a cheaper fix would be very welcome.
