Steering Wheel Controls Not Functioning

Hey everyone,

My steering wheel controls for the stereo are not working. However, my other wheel controls (cruise and HVAC) work fine, as do the rear audio controls. Its a stock radio, and I will be pulling it out as soon as I can get some removal tools, but I wondered if anyone has any advice for things to look for. Thanks!

Id look for cut wires. iirc the steering wheel audio controls go from the buttons to the stereo wiring harness.

Check the clock spring in the steering wheel. The contacts may have worn down.

Hrmm this is interesting, do you have to remove the wheel to get at it?
