Stereo amplification

I just got a 2002 Explorer last Saturday. It is an XLT with the optional package of the third seat. I was wondering where the best place would be to mount an amplifier for my system. I would like to keep the amp hidden for I carry passengers and/or band equipment. Thanks.

I put my amp under the 2nd row seats.Just measure to make sure it will fit under there.I could not find any other hidden location.You can run the wires under the carpet.

Yeah, I was thinking about putting it under the second row of seats since they don't fold all the way down to make the whole cargo area flat. Thanks for the advice.
