Hi all! I haven't been very active here because frankly my Explorer hasn't been used much. I got a new job about 6 years ago which needed a more economical commuter car so the Explorer didn't get driven a whole lot, but that's now changed! I moved closer to my office recently so I can daily my Explorer again. I had to replace the front diff and hubs this year, but it sailed through its MOT. I also had to replace the alternator after it died on arrival to the holiday cabin in Scotland after a 5 hour drive, but it's otherwise been great.
The past few years I've kinda considered swapping it for a big silly V8 truck because it's something I'd really like, but this damn V6 Explorer has just captured my heart over the ten years I've owned it, and I don't want to get rid of it.
But since I had to get rid of my commuter car it meant I could maybe... just about... justify another vehicle...
Big... check
Silly... check
V8... check
Truck... check (I mean it has stakes in the bed, what more could you want)
