Stock Air Suspension

My 2000 explorer has stock air suspension but I dont see a point in this. Whenever I turn the switch off I get a light on my dash that says check suspension. Is it ok to replace this with just regular suspension or the adjustable air suspension you can get at auto zone for like $50?

is there something wrong with the air suspension, ie. is it sagging?

If not just leave it.

Yes, and it i was under there lookin at it and it looks like the left is broken. There is what looks like some kind of sleeve or something just hangin and the compressor is always kicking on and off.
