Stock Explorer Ride height, what is it??

Who knows what the Stock ride height is for a 97 or 98XLT 4WD 4.0 SOHC, Measured from the centre of the rim cap to the bottom of the guard or (flare, with the body kit)
All 4 corners would be good but I am manly interested in the rear, centre of rim to bottom of guard distance.

I’m just trying to figure out how much my rased sprigs have sagged, and I can’t for the life of me remember what the stock ride height was.

I understand that each one will be different, I am just after a ballpark figure to go off.

here are some measurements of mine when it was stock:

Bottom of Front Bumper (to the ground)

Before - 14" After - 28"

Bottom of Rear Bumper (to the ground)

Before - 17" After - 29"

Front Crossmember

Before - 9" After - 13"

Rear Differential

Before - 8" After - 11"


they're on my cardomain site. Hopefully that might help a little

Thanks agene, I have a Bull bar on the front of mine so that one will be way out, Hopefully I can still use the rear measurement’s.
