Anyone know what the stock throttle body size is for the OHV 4.0? I measured mine, inside diameter, at the outer most point of it (closest to the front of the truck) and it was 63mm. Either I have an aftermarket TB on (possible, I bought the truck used) or I'm measuring at the wrong spot.

I think the stock TB on a 4.0 OHV is 63 mm. At least I think that's right.

Nope.

Stock TB is 58 mm. 63mm is the Vanir aftermarket, and 66mm is the BBK.

Sorry Alec, nobody's perfect...

The previous owner of 4x4Ranger's Ranger must have put a Vanir in I guess.

Still may be stock.

4x4 ranger the measurement should be taken at the butterfly plate inside the TB. The opening bells out towards the front. Measure the plate, also Vanir machines theirs from stock bodies so you should be able to see machining marks instead of a smooth casting surface on the stock Ford bodies if its from Vanir.

Hope that helps some

Thanks guys...I'll measure the butterfly plate and see what I come up with...
