OK, so I have a '99 XLT V6-SOHC
Here's what happens... I'll be driving down the road and everything will be normal. But every once in a while, while I'm coasting, it will sound like something spins up to really high RPMS, everything time it happens I always throw my truck into neutral cause it sounds like the engine and scares the **** out of me. But then I look at the TACH and its just idling, and the truck doesn't jump foward like it gets a ton of throttle or anything...
Anyone know anything about this?
