Has anyone made custom boxes for subs that would mount in the rear just after the rear seat one on each side in between the seat back and the fender well?

I'm planing on building two boxes and mounting the amp in the compartment where the stock jack is located and was just wondering if its been done and if so how was it ported

If you search, there's a thread of several people that did this, including a picture with dimensions.

Sweet ill try and do a search it's just a pain on my phone

That's not where I'm talkin about I want them on the other side of the fender wells since I utilize the cargo net area and I'm lookin to use 12" since I have 3 sets laying around

That's not what I'm talking about either. :P
There's a thread somewhere with dimensions for making the box fit behind the seats.
I can't find it atm, but I'm sure someone will chime in.

But on the sides not across the back of the back seat right? Lol
I want to still be able to have full access when ever needed I have boxes for all my subs I've already built I'm a carpenter so it's easy for me in just conserned about porting it right for it to breath proper I don't like closed boxes with that poly fill garbage to me that's a box built wrong ill keep searching the best I can on my phone

by "closed" if you mean sealed then that is a completely different box than ported... a sealed is used for drums and classic rock with tighter more accurate bass... "ported" is more for rap and can get a little more louder but not as accurate. and you only use poly fill to "fool" your box into acting as a bigger box ... the correct way to do it would be to just build a bigger box without any.
and as to the dimensions i am no help because i run one 15 in a ported box and it fits snug between the wheel wells sub up and port facing the rear hatch on the bottom.

Yea if I was younger again I'd go with a box in the middle but meet the cargo space sucks cause I love subs

on the other side of where the jack is cant you put a sub in there? it is a factory spot for some models i believe... then it would be a real stealth install and you would have your whole cargo area..

Yea but theres no way you can fit a 12 inch sub in there.

I don't want it flush I'm not going for a stealth box just don't want to lose too much cargo space if it sticks out passed the fender wells a few inches on each side ill be fine w that I guess after I get all my shocks installed next weekend ill take some measurements and mock up a design
