Today I installed the 255lph fuel pump took a hour real nice pump heavy and quiet

Lawnmower engine?!? .... well done, Donald’s!

I noticed that the instructions said to pull bend the coil pack bracket back towards the brake booster 4.0 SOHC Supercharger Kit - 02-05 Sport Tracs/2dr Sports
Well the valve cover is aluminium and the coil pack bracket is built into it so I need a bracket

I obtained a bracket from a ranger and don't forget the hardware

My son cut grinded and painted
Cut off the unused part of the bracket

I realized I needed a throttle cable from a ranger
Because of the bracket that came with the install kit is not compatible

I hope my gas pedal will work still

Also the throttle body on my year explorer is not compatible so I got a jy unit 2002 ford ranger

I cut the original coil pack bracket so I can retain the main harness holder

It looks great, but I think that's too big for the lawn mower?

Shhhhh

Both brackets installed

I wonder if you can see this? My old tune table for fuel.

stock-vs-boost-fuel.jpg

Hey why not my old timing table?
boost-timing-vs-stock.jpg

Stock fuel 12.7 Even at 5lbs it would run better with more fuel and less timing. I ran this much timing with 8-10lbs boost and alcohol/water injection. It would be about right for 5-6lbs of boost. I like and use the Tweecer, works for me, what I started with, but there advantages and disadvantages to what's available to tune these.

I am just learning about all this turning
I can read the tables but don't know what I'm looking at

However the kit does have ports for water alcohol injection but at 3.5 psi is it really necessary? Thank for the advice

Today I tore down everything definitely need to reroute lots of wires wish me luck

Good luck. If you have to reroute the plug wires at all, keep the used wires until the project is done, and then install new plug wires. Old plug wires develop misfires easily when they get handled rough, so baby them or replace them.

The stock tune will be fine at 3.5lbs, but I would bet you'll want more after you get it all set-up and working for a while..........

I'm pooped
