I finally have made the descision to purchase a Superchip for my 99 V6 SOHC after some research and a lot of Q and A with users of this product.
The chip has not arrived yet but I do want to comment on the support from this great company.
They promptly answer their e mail in a courteous and informative manner.
My concern was whether I would need a jumper wire installed in my computer. They said if I would provide them with the computer "code" they could advise me. I replied with CDE1 and got this in return from them after asking if they would do the joib for me on a while you wait basic - >>You can bring the computer by and we will install the jumpers for you. You will need to call and set up an appointment to have this done. If we need to remove the computer from the vehicle there will be a $50.00 installation fee.<<
Well folks, that’s customer service….
