Superchip Question....Ex won't start...

I installed my Superchip and now my Ex doesn't start. There was a card with my chip that said this may happen and you need to add a couple of jumpers to the computer.

Has anybody else had to do this?

And if so, do you have the pictures and instructions they say they provide? I'd like to get this done this weekend.

Go back and resand the pins on the PCM. Make sure you sand down the undersides of the gold pins as well.

Occasionally, the chip burners spit out a bad chip here and there so keep that in mind.

I just tried to install my chip and had the same problem. How did you resolve your problem?

i had to go to ford and they told me that my pcm had been flashed. I called superchips with the code ford gave me and they gave me their 4 digit code that matched that. i sent the chip to them with the code and they changed the program on the chip. I got it back yesterday but havent had the time to see if it works yet. Wish me luck.
