I HOPE YOU GUYS CAN HELP
MY EXPLORER RUNS GREAT SOMETIMES BUT AT OTHER TIMES IT RUNS ROUGH,STALLS,POURS BLACK SMOKE OUT TAIL PIPE,AND HAS NO THROTTLE RESPONSE UNLESS YOU STOMP IT TO THE FLOOR.I INSTALLED NEW AIR FILTER,CLEANED THE MAF,USED VARIOUS INJECTOR CLEANERS WITH NO IMPROVEMENTS. IT SOMETIMES DOES THIS COLD BUT NORMALLY AFTER IT WARMS UP. AFTER ABOUT TEN MILES OR SO.I ALSO DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY TO RESET THE COMPUTER BUT STILL NO IMPROVEMENTS. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I'm guessing your FPR, fuel pressure regulator is bad.

Yep, sounds like the regulator is shot.
