Suspension clunk/pop right after changing gears ...

Hi everyone,

Just bought a 99 XLT V6. Pretty happy with my purchase and it seems to have been really well kept. I have noticed in the past couple of days that right after I change gears and start moving my suspension slightly clunks/pops if I give it gas too fast ...

Has anyone experienced this?

Does it usually pop again when you slow down, just before you come to a complete stop? Does it also pop on takeoff or is it only when changing through gears? Listen again and report back.

I'm sorry that I didn't search the forum before posting this thread ... seems to me that I have to check/lubricate the slip-yoke/slip-joint. The noise is not bad at all and it only does it 50% of the time.
