suspension lift

I was looking at getting a suspension lift for my explorer, and I know that in order to find one for the '97 AWD 5.0 Explorer I needed to look for ranger kits. I saw this kit that fits my budget, (http://www.roughcountry.com/suspension/4wd-ford/ranger_83-97_4.html). I'm new so I need to know if this kit will fit. If not, which 4" lift kit can I find on a budget?

No that kit won't fit your explorer. It says "1990-1994 Explorer" but it wont fit because you don't have coils in the front end, but this kit has coils. You need something like a spindle lift for your truck.
