Swap Instrument cluster - help

Hey Guys...

I have a 2008 Explorer Sport Trac and I want to swap out the instrument cluster for a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer one (I like the way the Mercury one looks) They are direct fit and same plugs...however...

When I replaced it, everything works, but the truck won't start...

Do I need to reprogram the new instrument cluster? Anyone know how?

There are some threads over in the modified section about instrument cluster replacement.
I remember reading something about the cluster having to be reprogrammed to the car and I think its a dealer only thing. check over in the modified section.
