can you swap a transmission from a 1997 ford explorer with a 4.0l engine too a 1995 ford explorer that has a 4.0l engine, they are both automatic

The 97 tranny is a 5R55E (5 speed automatic) and the 95 is the 4R55E which is a 4 speed. Best bet is to try to find a 4R55E from car-part.com or rebuild yours.

transmission swap

I have a 1995 4.0L ford explorer with a 4R55E transmission, can I swap out a 4R70W transmission out of another 4.0L ford explorer, it's supposed to be a 1997 ford explorer.

No need to post the question multiple times across different sections of this forum. As stated before the only tranny that'll work is the 4R55E.. The 4R70W is a V8 transmission and will not physically mate to your v6 engine.
