Sway Bar End Links for 2003 Explorer

Have a clunk noise up front and found one of the bushing destroyed on passenger front side sway bar end link. Replace both sides since they're originals even though the other side looks ok? ...and do I need a front end alignment after replacing? Thanks...

Replace both sides, no alignment should be required. I replaced a set recently when I had to replace the front spring assembly. A little hint, if it seems like the bolt should be about 1/4 inch longer- put a jack with a piece of wood ( I used an old piece of 2x4 about 4 inches long) under the bolt head and apply enough pressure to get the nut started, remove jack and tighten as required.
