I'm replacing the ball joints and possibly the steering rack on a 98' Explorer XLT, and I thought about doing the cv joints as well since I've got the steering knuckles off. Is there any way to tell if a cv joint is in need of replacement by just moving the assembly around by hand? Visually boots are fine as well as shafts. Thanks
