syn/synblend atf

question... ive seen the amsoil multi vehicle syn atf before and was wondering if thatbwould be better than the synblend castrol that i am running now... and if it even makes a difference if i swap my fluid ever 15-20k in the 5r trnas thanks!

With that service interval, I doubt it will matter. Especially if you do a good job keeping the fluid cool. I run the Ford fluid, change every 30k. My trans is at 185k on a rebuild and happy as can be.

If you live in a hot ass environment, do lots of towing and/or don’t have a cooler…diff story

i run the hayden 689 and it gets rather warm (a hair over 100 at times) and i do a decent amout of froading... would that warrant syn?
