Sync software updates

How do i find out what the latest version of sync software is on my2011 EX?
When was the current software installed on my vehicle? Does the factory at the time the vehicle was built intall it or my dealer when the vehicle is delivered to him?

How often should i check for uprades?

As to updates, it may have been updated at the dealer...depends on the dealer.

MFT is installed at the factory, not the dealer. You can go to syncmyride.com as suggested. From here you can download a tool that will help you figure out which version you have (or maybe sync does this automatically) and which updates to get.

I went on syncmyride.com as soon as I brought the vehicle home and found a software update waiting.
