The intent of this thread is to see what you SMR confirm installations shows for your Explorer and to compile a data base of confirmed installations. Could be interesting to determine who is having issues based upon method of installation. Make sure to perform a MFT History Report before copying your results from SMR.

Would expect with the new upgrade, that all vehicle would show the same installation modules. Those with NAV should show more modules in their confirmation.

Not sure where you found all the info above, I only see this on mine under Confirmed Installations on Syncmyide.com. Ran Health Report this past Thursday after which my MFT bogged down and caused me to reboot system.

The interesting part is that the Sync version does show up as 3.0.2. There was another thread where someone was talking about the continued problems they were having with MFT after an update at the dealer - and their version was showing as 2.11. Sounds like they did not get the new MFT update.

Dealer probably did not update their version on SyncMyride.com. Run a health report and it will update the site with newest version installed.

This is why it is interesting to look at the SMR confirmed report for each vehicle.

I would expect that IF the hardware is all the same, that each X updated would show the same number of modules with the same version. Module version appears to be the last two characters of the module I.E. BT4T-14F603-AP.

What does each Module apply to I.E. Nav, GPS, Sirius radio, dash and MFT display, AM/FM radio, touch screen, Phone, Bluetooth, Climate control, etc?

Did you do alot of self installs off of SMR? How is your system running?
 






Nope. The vehicle came with 2.11 installed. I had to build the USB stick off of SMR a couple times (I ended up formatting it before I could do the upgrade) but the upgrade to 3.0.2 was/is the only self upgrade I've done since owning the Explorer.

Things have been working great. Mind you- I rarely ever had issues before the upgrade. I think I'd seen the "Performing Scheduled Maintenance" screen once since taking ownership in late November. Pairing with my wife's BB9700 had been a little sketchy prior to the upgrade, but that seems to be a non issue now.
 






Sure is interesting to see the large variations of SMR reports on software modules.

Surely there is more users out there that have not reported their SMR report.

With those that have reported, I cannot see any pattern. I would think there would be a difference between Nav/no Nav, USA/other countries,etc.

Would like to see more reports.
 






Batman, I don't think you'll be seeing many more updates. I am over 3 weeks in and have not had any problems. People seem to only come on here when they have problems, it has slowed down considerably since the update. Both in the stock and IVT forums. Personally, I haven't seen any set pattern either. My friends and I have all had flawless performance. No glithces reboots or freezing to report. Way to go Ford. You did a good job.

I had my update performed by the dealer two weeks ago. I tried to follow the instructions on syncmyride.com to report the upgrade with no success. A chat box came up and the person said that they would take care of it. As of today (4 days later) it had not happened. I looked up this post and just ran a health report. It updated my version like you said.

Here is what my account shows now that I finally managed to get it updated with Rebecca's help.
It was a dealer upgrade and they supplied the A3 navigation card.
FYI, I upgraded from the original version V2.4.
