SYNC3 updates when car is registered with sync2

Hi all,

I recently swapped my sync2 unit for a sync3. All went well but now i'd like to check for updates. The Ford support website sees my old configuration, based on the cars VIN# (2015 Explorer Sport). So it will only look for syn2 updates. Any way to change the setting on the supprt site or any other way rto download the files and put them on a flash drive?

Kinda figured out a work around. I inserted a 2020 VIN# i copied from a sales listing and the system now says

Click here if your download has not started: 5U5T-14G381-ET.zip
Your SYNC system will be updated to SYNC3 v3.4.21194
