Tach question

I've got an aftermarket tach in my truck... it's not hooked-up. Anyone know where I should hook-up the wire to make it work? one wire... suppose to be hooked-up to ignition module or something...

There is a tan/yellow wire that runs from the EDIS ignition module to the PCM with a branch to the instrument cluster. There is also a branch of this TN/YE wire that goes to a capped diagnostic connector, probably on the passenger side near the firewall. Tapping this tan/yellow at any location will give you the pulse for tach RPM signal.
