tail light compatibility question

i have a 2002 Eddie bauer.

i was wondering if it was possible to swap out my stock 2002 taillights for the newer 06 + design?

yes it is, but iirc some wiring will be required.

from a distance it looked like the light was the same shape. but i did notice the new ones appear to have two bulbs instead of 1 so i would just have to splice in the additional socket??
