Hello All!

I have water accumulating in the driver side rear tail light assembly. The dealer wanted to replace it but I figured I could save money and do it myself. I found a used one on ebay but it seems to be accumulating water as well. Recently I noticed the one on the passenger side has water droplets inside as well, so I bought a brand new set. Does anyone know if the surface needs to be prepared in any way before installing the new assemblies or do you just put them on?

Thanks in advance.

Technically you just put them in, BUT I would reccomend getting some sealer around ALL edges. (Silicon or something simaler)

I have the same problem on my driver's side tail light. It went away for a while, but it's back again.
