Tail Lights stay on

I have a 2003 Explorer (4.0). All of a sudden, I noticed that all three tail lights were staying on even when I removed the key. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas?

brake switch on brake pedal is probably worn out. If you follow the brake pedal up under the dash there should be a switch connected to it and that is probably worn out.

I have the same problem...part is $120.00. lucky mine is still covered under warranty. I found out mine was faulty by my cruise control not working after using cruise and disengaging by braking then trying to resume speed again..it wouldn't.Just tap the peddle and they will go out
