tailgate struts

hi folks

both of the top ball and socket retainer clipshave rusted to nothing . the struts themselves are fine but im having a hard time finding replacement clips!! i just spent 800 £ getting it thru the test so i cant really afford complete new struts . anyone know where i can get the new clips

I have never seen them offered separately. Not saying they aren't...I just haven't seen them.
