Hey all,

What tools are needed to take the coil seats off a 97 F150 so I could use them in my X??

Thanks for the help

You will need a spring compressor for sure:D

Really?
How come you dont need one when you put them in on the X?

How else would you get them under the springs:D Unless you know a easier way:D

Uhh.... If your talking about the F150 coil spacers then all you would really need to do is remove the coils by unbloting them, the anti-sway bar, and the shocks. Then you just lower the axle down put them in there and reatach everything. No need for a spring compresor.

Would it be quicker with a compressor:D

Could be, I have never used one so I couldn't really tell you. I have always just removed all that stuff. It usually takes about half hour or so just to remove it all and put it back together. :)
