Well i must say i freaking love my exploder! I've had it for the past year and have only recently gotten into taking it where ever my buddies say i can't.

My friends have some pretty serious rides and from Spring Creek, Slaughter House, Lake City, and Red Cone my STOCK ex is the only one that hasn't gotten stuck/rolled/broken down (knocking on wood).

Just last weekend my buddy decided to take his '68 Chevy (####ing sweet truck) wheeling, and from the get-go automatic problems. On the way to the trail his water pump decided stop working, after we changed that out we made it to just below the cone (at Red Cone). We decided to make camp with 35mph winds and rain. After a fun filled night of drinking and shooting (not exactly in that order) we decided to finish the trail. Well his starter wouldn't work, so we parted one out from my buddies manual Chevy. Starter was good but the battery was bad. Again we parted my buddies truck and got it started while 2 different jeep clubs and 1 yota club passed by. Once on the trail again we started up the cone and a big pop came from his hood...dumb ass didn't mount the battery! Now we have another fried starter, shot electrical, snapped shifter cable, and broken rear brake line, ####ed up steering and his Buddy Christ's arm fell off. God bless bad ass extension chords cause we had to slowly let him down the hill with what little we had. We left it over night and got the parts and called into work and started the process of making it drivable. Everything was good except a **** load of white smoke coming from his exhaust. We checked the dip stick and his oil smelled like gas! What could cause that? but any way notta scratch on my machine...nay a stock machine! I can't freaking wait to lift it!

fun fun times

nice x u got there bonzo r u going to do mods to it at all

yeah i'm going to put a 4" sus lift, TT, and SOA with 33's. Once i get my tax return. Soon to follow will be a cold air intake, and a flowmaster 40, and custom rear bumper/tire carrier. that's all i got right now. The only thing i concerned about is if there's gonna be a too much of a rake with the SOA.

What's your rig like?

Neil

The SOA is about 6" or so of lift in the rear. the 4" suspension lift in the front and the TT should give you about 5.5" so it wont be very bad. I'm pretty sure there are a few guys running that setup...

sweet i'm freaking stoaked for the mods to start taking place, it has been my dream for the past year since i first started wheeling...one could say that i have the bug
