im running a 4" lift and was wondering if anyone would share their experience on taller softer coils for my ranger standard cab.i want to stay at 4" and was thinking about 5" 240# jeep coils because i dont want to cut up my coil buckets,i've heard bronco coils are larger diameter.is that enough to keep it at 4"?advise,part #'s and experience would be appreciated.my truck has dual shocks and long arms so i think it wouldent be too bad on the highway.

hey anyone want to share their spring swapping stories?

I can't help you too much, as my truck is a desert truck with coilovers. I know most ranger lift coils are around a 500 lb. springrate (at least coils for prerunner type trucks) My coils on my coilovers are 300 over 350, which equals a 161 lb. primary springrate (ride height springrate) so I'm sure if you're not taking big hits at speed, the 240 lb. jeep coils should be nice & soft, but not too soft.

...hope that made some sense.

thanks for the post everything helps:thumbsup:
