TAS98XLT's 98 Explorer

This is my Explorer that I bought brand new in March 1998 and which currently has about 85k miles on the odometer. It's my daily driver and only vehicle I own, so I always keep it in good shape.

I first lowered my X with the EE lowering kit but wasn't happy with the height, so I went lower with the torsion adjuster flip in the front and 3" blocks in the rear. Explorer express provided the Cobra R's and the X-Spec handling kit which includes the rear swaybar and Edlebrock IAS shocks. I installed a SS Speed Grille using one for an F150 and cut it to fit in the Explorer grille. A custom true dual Flowmaster 50 series exhaust setup was installed in the spare tire area.

I had the bumpers and other exterior parts painted to match the factory paint by Steve Tolentino of Ford Truck World. All parts were smoothed out and painted the color of the rest of the truck.
