temp gauge install, Help

Hi putting in a mechical temp gauge in my 1999 4.0 sohc , anybody who has already done this please help, thinking about putting a tee and putting it in a radiator hose heater hose or maybe in the block Thanks for your help Bobby

Don't tee it off the heater hose, you will not get an accurate reading. The sending unit needs to go in the factory location.
